Govt Ponders Setting up Eight Special Courts for Insolvency Cases

To deal with the rising problem of insolvency cases, the government is considering to establish 8 special courts under the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). These are proposed to be set up in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and Delhi. 

As per the report of the corporate affairs ministry, 3 courts are proposed for Mumbai, 2 for Delhi, and 1 each for Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.
