Government Looks to Launch TV Channel on Health, Nutrition

NITI Aayog member V K Paul who is the chief architect of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) said that the union government is planning to launch a new health TV channel that can spread awareness about health and nutrition across the country. They said that the channel will also promote the newly launched national healthcare scheme i.e. Ayushman Bharat. At present, the channel is under active consideration.
