Fresh Capacity Addition in Thermal Power Drops by 69%

As green energy continues to gain momentum, fresh energy addition in thermal and hydropower dropped by 69% during April-November this financial year. The data shared by Central Electricity Authority (CEA) shows that the last financial year, 4,300 Mw worth of thermal power was added, but this year, only 1,330 Mw worth of power was added.
