Free Insurance for Paytm Users on Their Mobile Wallet

To protect its users from illegal access and frauds, Paytm is now giving free mobile wallet insurance to all its mobile wallet users. The users don’t have to bear any additional cost for this service, and the existing users will be automatically covered under the new policy.
Paytm’s new move is aimed at promoting cashless transactions in India. According to the insurance policy a customer is given a coverage of Rs. 20,000 due to loss of mobile phone or theft. However, the claims can only be made once a year, and the customer also needs to be using the updated version of the Paytm wallet.
