FM Arun Jaitley Says Govt Keen on Lowering Tax Rate and Widening Coverage

This Tuesday, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that the government is focused on lowering the tax burden and widening the base. He was addressing a delegation of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) when he promised that the government will bring down corporate tax to just 25% as soon as the collections of Goods and Services Tax (GST) will improve.
