FinMin Approval Required for Seminars with Expenditure Rs 40 Lakhs or Above

As per Department of Expenditure’s recent office memorandum, proposals for seminars, workshops, and conferences organized by government departments involving expenses above Rs. 40 lakhs will now require an approval from the finance ministry.
