Dubai Wants More Air Connectivity with India to Promote Tourism

In a bid to promote tourism, Dubai seeks more air connectivity with India which is its one of the biggest markets today. Chief Executive of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) Issam Kazim said that the air connectivity was never enough and they are in talks with Indian carriers to boost capacity. He also said that Dubai wants to double the number of tourists it gets from India. 

In 2017, a record 2.1 million Indians visited Dubai and the number keeps growing at around 2% per year.
