Commerce Ministry Looks Forward to Cabinet’s Approval for National Logistics Policy

The National Logistics Policy which aims at improving the movement of goods across the country and reducing the transaction costs for the traders will soon be presented before the Cabinet by the commerce ministry. A draft Cabinet note on the same has already been circulated that seeks inputs from different ministries and government departments.

The policy focuses on finding weak points in the logistics sector that increase the transportation costs for the traders, as well as on increasing the warehousing capacity.
