Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman happy with demonetisation meeting its objectives

The cash which was not being counted or was part of the circulation is now in bank accounts, and this has proven demonetisation meeting its objectives, said Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Commerce Minister also said that she would wait for the Reserve Bank of India to come up with actual data about how much money has reached the accounts, how much is still missing and how much will bring penalty with it.
If government has called all the cash back to itself (in bank accounts), and people had cash at that time, this doesn’t mean that we can call all the cash as black, mentioned the minister.
