Center to Receive ₹28,000 cr from RBI

The central government is set for receiving ₹28,000 crores from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as an interim dividend. The central bank said that based on a limited audit review, the board has decided to transfer the interim surplus to the Center for the half-first year that ended December 31, 2018. The funds will be used to meet the revised fiscal deficit target of 3.4% of GDP for the financial year 2018-19.
