Bridging Skill-Gap: Tata Tech Trains Engineers on Core Skills

Realizing the massive challenge of skill-gap in today’s industry, engineering and IT services firm Tata Technology is focusing on offering training on core skills and soft skills to engineering students. The company’s Chief Human Resource officer Anupal Banerjee said that the idea was to make sure that the engineers are job-ready from day one. He also said that the company was offering a 4-semester programme for core and soft skills development in 35 engineering colleges as of now, and takes around 80 students per college.
