Banks’ Unions Threaten More Strikes, Nationwide Agitation

After recently observing a 2-day nationwide strike on May 30 and 31, the staff of public sector banks may stir up protests once again in July and August.

The United Forum of Bank Unions said that they may intensify their agitation against the abysmally low wage hike of 2% that was offered to them by the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) earlier.
