Asian Development Bank Commits Rs. 1,700 cr Aid for Uttrakhand

Uttrakhand is poised to receive a massive funding of Rs. 1,700 crores from the Asian Development Bank as its country director informed the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh about the same at a meeting held recently.

The financial aid will be used for the development of infrastructure and sewage treatment facilities in state’s urban regions.

Singh thanked the director and said that infrastructure development is one of the top priorities of the center and that 100% of the funding will be used for the same.
