After Rs. 2,000 Notes, now Rs. 200 Notes?

If you are tired of getting change for your Rs. 2,000 notes again and again, then soon you may have another denomination note in your wallet for a relief. According to a Live Mint report, RBI has approved the proposal to introduce notes of Rs 200 denomination in the circulation.
The RBI board had reportedly sanctioned a proposal for the Rs. 200 notes introduction in March this year. Now the only thing that’s holding the people back from enjoying the new denomination is the government clearance. If the proposal receives a nod from the government then the printing of the notes will begin shortly. However, there has been no official statements or comments on the matter as of now.
