54 Lakh New Indirect Tax Payers Registered Under GST, Says Narendra Modi

Since the launch of Goods and Services Tax regime, as many as 54 lakh new indirect taxpayers have registered with the system, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said. He said that foreign exchange reserves and Foreign Direct Investments have also achieved record highs under the 4 years of the NDA government.

Modi said that it’s important to become a part of the $5 trillion economy club and for that India must achieve double-digit growth.
