240 Million Pound fund for India's energy needs, as part of India-UK agreement

British Finance Minister Philip Hammond has come up with a concept promotion of ”Make in India” but ”Finance in the UK”. After Brexit, Hammond met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and the two nations agreed on financing India’s energy needs together, 120 Million Pound each.

Philip Hammond, UK Chancellor also said that this relationship between India and UK was meant to be a ”mature” one and between ”equals”. Moreover, Arun Jaitley, Finance Minister of India added that ‘India is open to all arrangements which are in mutual interest for expanding trade’.
