An assessment report is a piece of paper which summarizes the findings of an assessment. It is used to improve internal processes by highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of an organization. It is usually written by an external source, but can also be created internally. Assessments are typically conducted as part of development and training programmes, or as part of a wider company performance review.

Assessment reports should clearly describe the findings of the assessment and what actions have been taken in light of these results. They should be easy to read and employ an equal amount of visuals and text to communicate information. They should also consider the design principles of the organization to ensure that they are well presented and are in line with the brand.

Assessing a program is not about determining if students completed the required requirements instead, it’s about how they’ve developed through time and if the curriculum has been successful in improving student outcomes. Assessment reports for the academic year is one method to demonstrate this. These reports are evidence that programs are constantly evaluating and enhancing their curriculum. They also show ongoing improvement.
