SEO: Search Engine Optimization
SEO means to use various techniques to improve the visibility of a website or blog on search engines like Google Search.
Keywords
Keywords are words or phrases that your target audience uses on search engines to get desired results. By using these keywords in your content more frequently, you can attract your target audience easily.
CPC: Cost Per Click
Cost per click is a pricing model in digital advertisements in which you pay for every click that a web user makes on your ads which takes them to your website or blog.
CTR: Click-Through Rate
Click-through rate refers to the percentage of people who click on your links. These links could be on website pages, emails, digital ads, etc. If the CTR for a particular link is high, it means more people visited the page that it directed them to.
CPA: Cost Per Acquisition
This is a metric that’s used to determine how much does it cost you to acquire one customer. It’s one of the most important metrics that you consider because it shows how much value you are getting for the money spent. So, if the CPA is too high, you can consider other techniques that make it cheaper to acquire new customers.
Retargeting
Retargeting is a digital marketing technique in which you can drive potential customers back to your website after they have bounced off to other websites. This is done by recording their online activities and then publishing relevant ads that can take them back to your website. For instance, a visitor may take a look at a pair of shoes on your website but leave without making a purchase. So, if they visit other websites, then customized advertisements can be displayed on these which show the same pair of shoes that they checked out earlier.
