Garden Park to explore the beauty of the wilderness. Pratik Sawant shares his stolen moments from

The thrill of taking the lens out for a jaunt in the beautiful monsoons, swells the soul with the
thought of having a wonderful conversation with the nature. Our photography student, Pratik
Sawant, captured some fabulous shots at the Mahim Nature Park and the Butterfly Garden at Thane.

If words could find a fit, I would dip the tip in the greens and paint the pages with the gorgeous
imagery that panned before me at the nature park and butterfly garden. Of course, the thought of
wildlife begins to stich a feeling of delight pre-shoot. And just like everyone else, one thinks of their
encounter with the magnanimous creatures of the wild. But we weren’t fortunate enough to spot
the bigger beauties. However, the blessing of being a learner leads you to make the most of such
outdoor events, where your mind and the camera both begin to tell you to see the beauty in
everything you see. Each creature that I spotted was like a secret, waiting to be decoded by the
lens. The colors, the texture, the movement and the posture perfectly synchronized themselves and
that is when I knew nature is the greatest storyteller of all.

If I had to summarize my experience at trying my hands at wildlife photography it would be – There is no better place than nature to carve a home and fill it with memories.
