IRDAI, NHA to Set up Joint Working Group to Push Ayushman Bharat

For better implementation of the national healthcare scheme Ayushman Bharat, the National Health Agency (NHA), and Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) have decided to establish a joint working group. Some of its duties will include defining the standards for high-quality healthcare and hospital infrastructure, analyzing management and performance of network hospitals, etc.
The working group will have 11 members both from IRDAI and NHA. Dinesh Arora, who is the Deputy CEO of NHA will be at the helm of this group.
