China to Provide 2.1 bn USD Loan to Cash-Strapped Pakistan

A massive loan of 2.1 billion USD will be provided to Pakistan by its ally China to gives a boost to its weakening economy. Finance ministry’s advisor Khaqan Najeeb Khan said that the formalities for the loan have been completed with the Chinese government and the funds shall be disbursed by March 25. He said that the funds will ensure the balance of payment stability and boost the country’s foreign exchange reserves.
